How long is a work experience placement and when does it begin?
Basic and preliminary experience placements are generally for 4 to 8 weeks. Placements as part of the practical semester or specialist work experience placements are always between 5 and 6 months in length. There is no fixed starting date for practical placements. The start of the work experience placement is agreed between the applicant and the specialist department.
Do you also offer technical examination projects?
Some production entities regularly offer technical examination projects, predominantly in the field of design. Pleas don't hesitate to contact the individual production entitiy.
Is there any payment for work experience placements and final assignments?
Although the main objective of the work experience placement or final assignment is an educational one, you will naturally receive a remuneration during this period.
Is it possible to complete a work experience placement abroad?
Where demand exists and if supervision can be assured, we also offer in some production entities work experience placements abroad.
