Job profile
As a design mechanic (m/f) at HOMAG Group you will be working in the fields of sheet metal working and welding technology. You will learn the manufacture of different sheet metal components, containers and covers, and you will also be working using different welding and soldering techniques as well as computer-aided sheet metal working systems.
The wide variety of tasks includes production, assembly and dismantling of individual machine components and protective devices.
Following your training, you will be able to work in the sheet metal processing, welding and machine assembly departments.
Those best suited for this training profession have an interest and enjoyment in working with sheet metal as a material, and should also have good special perception skills.
