The New Series 3 Is Out Now!
HOLZMA has further enhanced its 3 series ecoLine technology, which saves around 20% more energy than the previous series — remarkable, considering that the last generation already offered outstanding energy savings. The designers focused their efforts on the extraction system and all the pneumatic and electrical elements.
The new 3 series comes with an impressive range of basic equipment: The saws exclusively feature 2-finger clamps as well as 19" touch-screen monitors and automatic cutting height control, while the pressure beam and the clamp pressure can be configured manually. All air tables and machine tables are always fully equipped with air jets and the first air table is 800 mm wide.
New are also the now available cutting length of 5600 mm, the viewing window in the pressure beam, the extended postforming options and the cleaning door at the front of the machine.
At first glance, this technical redesign is easy to overlook, but is noticeable as soon as you see the speed and cutting quality. This includes an entirely new saw carriage design. Yet despite the array of new functions in the saw carriage, the working height (the height of the air tables) has remained low, at the ideal ergonomic height of 920 mm. This will protect your back.
There will be working demonstrations of the new HPP 350 and the new HPL 380 at the HOLZMA Treff. In total, the new 3 series comprises five saws: the HPP 350 and HPP 380 single saws, the HPL 350 and HPL 380 single saws with lift table feeding and the HKL 380 angular system.

Software
The CADmatic machine control boasts a whole range of innovative features. One highlight is its intelligent storage position management function for offcuts. This will make work considerably easier for all customers who work with manual offcut storage. The Cut Rite optimization specialists will also be at the event to answer any questions.

Systems
The Systems Engineering team will focus its attention on the high-tech 5 series angular saws (at the event: HKL 570). The popular HKL 380 combiLine combined saw and routing unit will also be on show. It eliminates the need for previously necessary re-cuts and leads to fast, flexible and fully automated batch size 1 production. The team will also be delighted to answer any questions about recently completed projects in series production.
Systems Expertise
The PRACTIVE products on display are highly compatible with one another, as proven by the sample workpiece production. In partnership with BARGSTEDT, HOLZMA will also demonstrate one of the many possible saw-storage combinations and will give detailed advice on its possible applications.

The HOLZMA Treff 2010 will play host to presentations from the affiliated companies BARGSTEDT, BRANDT, BÜTFERING, HOMAG and WEEKE, as well as HOMAG Finance, thereby allowing HOLZMA to give visitors a taste of the major advantage offered by the HOMAG Group: The products manufactured by the Group companies are powerful individual solutions. BARGSTEDT will present the TLF 410 storage solution, which is primarily targeted at trade customers. It saves a considerable amount of space in terms of panel storage and increases sawing capacity, marrying intelligent storage technology with high efficiency. Its outstanding organization management, including offcut management to ensure optimum material utilization, and its sophisticated storage optimization solutions guarantee maximum efficiency, giving you the competitive edge.
BRANDT will showcase four machines and one brand new innovation at the HOLZMA Treff, giving visitors an insight into the sheer variety of its product portfolio. Visitors will be able to see the Ambition 1220 FC, Ambition 1660 FGC, Highflex 1440 and Highflex 1880 edge gluing machines. The new profile trimming unit, featuring linear motors with rapid acceleration, high travel speeds and precise positioning, is also well worth seeing. This new development follows the contours of the workpiece with utmost accuracy, meaning it processes even the most extreme contours to precision. The special synchronous motors are another technological leap forward. Their compact construction makes them up to 40% lighter than conventional motors. This increases its energy efficiency and consequently the overall efficiency of the machine.
BÜTFERING also has new products to unveil: The H unit from the 300 series is a low-cost solution for trade enterprises looking for the highest quality in sanding technology. Similar longitudinal sanding units with a felt ribbed belt are already established in the industry. They deliver first-class results on wood, paint, and high-gloss surfaces and are the ideal solution for practically any application. The unit can be seen on the SWT 325 CH.
SWT 515 C Diamond will also be at the expo. This machine is one of the successful models from SWT 500 series. The special Diamond models combine MPS magnetic pressure beam technology with a whole host of other great equipment ideas, all at a very affordable cost-to-benefit ratio.
HOMAG will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year, so it will also be showcasing its KAL 210 edition anniversary model at the expo. This edge gluing machine boasts impressive joining results thanks to its powerful motors, as well as secure strip feeding via the vacuum suction device, no slip lines during snipping thanks to the upright snipping stop and four-motor profile trimming that does not tear the wood. These special models and others will be available until 12/31/10 at outstanding anniversary prices.
HOMAG Finance will provide information on its individual financial solutions, helping customers control their finances while offering them flexibility.
WEEKE will display three machines: the new BHX 055 Optimat, BMG 300 Optimat with SORB TECH and the ABD 050 Optimat. The BHX 055 is a particular highlight. This smart processing center has been developed off the back of the highly successful BHX 050 and features servo-motor assisted depth adjustment, a stronger drill head with up to 19 drill spindles and increased processing dimensions. It offers a maximum cost-benefit ratio and allows CNC processing to be carried out on an area of less than 5 m².
