Those with good arithmetic have a clear advantage – as demonstrated by the family firm Toni Gasser, located near Lake Lucerne in Switzerland. With his two sons and around 20 employees, the company founder has been producing customised, high-quality kitchen furniture since 1985. The Swiss place great importance on efficient use of machines. When it was time to invest in a new panel-sizing saw in 2003, the family company considered a horizontal panel saw in order to do away with the previous pre-trimming and format trimming thanks to its cleaner cuts.

		Triple Mix standard facilitates comparison To make the most cost-effective decision, Toni Gasser (picture bottom left) carefully weighed up the pros and cons of possible solutions. In those days, today's proven HOLZMA "Triple Mix" standard was not yet available. This allows an objective comparison of the performance of panel-sizning saws, making it a valuable tool. However, even without it, Gasser made the right decision and invested in a HOLZMA HPP 72 with Cut Rite optimisation software.
